The first Introductory Workshop was conducted in Moscow on the 26th September
The first Introductory capacity building workshop "Raising awareness of environmental Hot Spot related regional decision-makers and industry managers in the field of Best Available Techniques and Integrated Environmental Permits" was conducted in Moscow on the 26th September.
The workshop was conducted at the premises of the Federal State Autonomous Body Research Institute ‘Environmental Industrial Policy Centre’ (Russian BAT Bureau) with the support of representatives of SHE and Russian authorities (the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation (Minpromtorg), the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation (Minprirody) and in close collaboration with the leading Russian sector and inter-sector experts.
38 participants attended the Introductory Workshop: 8 representatives of industries from the North-West Federal District, 11 representatives from Rosprirodnadzor, 5 representatives from the Federal executive authorities (Minprirody) and the Federal Supervisory Natural Resources Management Service, 7 representatives from Research centres and higher education establishments, 2 representatives from Environmental consulting companies, 2 representatives of Industry Associations and 3 representatives of Barents Euro-Arctic Cooperation.
The workshop was broadcasted on YouTube to open opportunities of wider regional stakeholders to participate in this event.
