Not being a part of the official Barents cooperation structures, The Barents Games have for years been a succesful people-to-people cooperation project between Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia. The biennially held event aims to involve as many young people as possible across the borders.

The Barents Winter Games 2018 took place in mid-March in Luleå, Sweden. With participation by more than 1200 athletes, competing in 15 different sports, we are happy to note that the event gathered together more young talents than ever before!

The Norwegian Barents Secretariat produced a video of the highlights of the event and uploaded many inspiring pics on their Facebook page, enjoy!
