Biennial Indigenous Peoples Summit

The purpose of the Summit is to contribute to a closer dialogue between indigenous peoples in the Barents region and the national/federal authorities, as well as to exchange knowledge and experiences that can lead to more sustainable development among indigenous peoples underlining their important role in the Barents cooperation
 The meeting is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, the Sami parliament of Norway, Västerbotten county and the Barents Working Group of Indigenous Peoples. 
 The Event will be streamed online starting at 10.00 Norwegian/Swedish time / 11.00 Finnish/Moscow time at:
